Yuck. So sorry about that.
I watch wayyy too much television.....
There was an episode of Mystery Diagnosis. A man was very very sick...for a very long time. (I've seen the episode twice, but the details are fuzzy. LOL.) I just remember that he was eventually--after a long time and many many many doctor's visits--diagnosed with Lyme Disease.
And there was an episode of Intervention. This once-athletic young woman was in incredible amounts of pain. She had been diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis. She was hooked on the pain killers. But there was very strong evidence indicating that she actually had Lyme Disease and she could be treated. But she refused to accept that possibility. She didn't want to give up the drugs.
Those 2 shows really stick in my mind. Lyme Disease...nasty business.
Hope you get feeling better soon.

I hope to God I never get this again it is the absolute worst thing ever and I had it for a few months before I was diagnosed to I will probably have some lasting effects especially in my neck. I never saw a tick and didnt have any type of rash. My doctor said that deer ticks are often the size of a period at the end of a sentence. I dont know that I would have even noticed something on my body this (.) size. Gross! Jess
