Kaden was an Evil Wizard This is Denise, Kaden, Evan and Jonathan Kaden ready for some candy This year was so cool for us. Kaden seemed to really GET what was going on. He knew people was putting candy in his bag, and he wanted to see what he had after every house. He actually went to quite a few houses before he wanted back in the van with me. (I was driving and Denise was walking them) We went to two trunk or treats at local churches and Kaden was really into holding his little bag out. It was a great Halloween!

Emily, just before the hayride. She totally enjoyed that, but decided not to go into the "haunted corn maze"; along with about 8 other teens, who were also a bit nervous about the whole thing! Never could get a good pic of her face as she handed out the candy, but she had a great time! I loved everyone's pics!!! Radonna, I'm thrilled to hear that Kaden had such FUN last night!! Emily has said for the past few years that she didn't want to dress up........just wanted to pass out candy here at home. But, when her brothers went to a costume shop, she started getting into the idea of buying one too. I had asked for suggestions on costumes because she acted at first like she didn't want one and I was going to just buy something and bring it home and surprise her with it; hoping she'd change her mind. In the end, she decided she wanted to be "QUEEN EMILY", and we found a pretty queen's dress and crown. She went with the church teens to a hay ride on Thursday night, and had so much fun. She kept telling people they had to say "Yes, my queen" to her and then she'd giggle like crazy. Then, last night we went to our church's "Trunk or Treat", and Emily had a blast! There were well over 150 kids there, and she had so much fun. She was in charge of our van and handed out all the candy to the kids who came to it. (I think we had about 30 other cars/vans in the parking lot). She put so much thought into it.............carefully gave 2 pieces of candy to each child and looked closely at each one to see if she recognized them. I'll post pics as soon as we get them uploaded. It turned out to be a wonderful Halloween for all of us. Susan

All the kids are so cute. It's like I wish we all could have had one big Halloween party. I need to work on posting Jelani's too. So Emily was almost a princess like I suggested! (Queen is much better!) and Jenn...is this how you wanted it to look? But personally, I like the larger one of Brook! She's SO precious. Love the hair ribbons too!

What wonderful pics...everyone's kids are just adorable...makes me wish I could go Back in Time. It is a bummer to have no kids and no grandkids anywhere nearby. Keep posting.
Susan...Emily is sooo grown up now...where has time gone...she looks great in that color, too.
