Well, this is sort of hard because in some respects, up to a certain age, I believe "potty trained" is different for each one of our kids .....BUT, push comes to shove, I'd have to say letter C. Paige acheived letter C completely by age 5. Debbie

Well, Paige will be 9 years old, and I have been noticing alot more self talk, and alot more "nonsense talk" than ever before. In fact, she never stops talking, and there are times that I have no idea what she is talking about.....BUT, yes, I listen. I may not go right to the door if she is in her room, but I'll stand at the bottom of the steps/or the top, or around a corner...I agree, it is the only way I can find things out. Alot of times, if she is upset, she will go in her room and talk. Even if she is upset about being disciplined or frustrated with her homework, whatever it may be. I listen to hear what she is saying, so I know how she is feeling, because when I ask her she says "I don't know"..so if I can hear what she is expressing out loud and working thru, this this helps me in conversations with her later. However, I never let her know I've been listening. I know she is much younger than Laura, so maybe it will change in the future, but, I highly doubt it...I'll always be an eavesdropper!!!
I'll be interested to hear what the other moms say on this topic!

Yay, CC!! I am so glad things went well for Chris and will continue to keep you all in my thoughts and prayers that he is feeling better soon. As for the pain meds...that is a good thought on the vomiting, I, personally can not take certain ones for that reason. Keep updating us on his progress!! Debbie

False, false, false....I hate flowers, and have not one planted in my yard and turned all of my mulch gardens into rock (pebble) gardens just this past year.
TPBM likes cake better than pie.

I know my son had it when he was 3 months old and it was awful. It was exactly what you described from the chest, he sounded awful. Can you get into your dr. again today? If her chest sounds crackily that is not a good thing. Has she been nebulized to try and break some of that stuff up? Good luck, let us know how you make out. I would personally take her somewhere.

false....no pet gifts here, he may get an extra biscuit
TPBM will spend ALL DAY opening gifts rather than their kids ripping thru them in an hour.

True. We are trying to watch each Christmas show for the 25 days of Christmas on ABC family...so far, the kids have been interested, not so sure on the things coming up!!!
TPBM will take a ride on Christmas Eve to see if they can find Santa in the sky, and look at others decorations.

It was very good. Extremely positive and so refreshing to see, especially from a medical standpoint.
