Colin, Christopher and I met this Doc at The Children's Kidney Center of New Jersey in Morristown, NJ and we loved this Doc and everyone we met there. Turns out Chris does have Kidney issues and now we are on the discovery as to how bad and why. More tests for Chris on Monday. I know lots have it worse BUT Man oh Man Christopher deserves a break. I have to say Colin and I are so proud of how Christopher is handling all these issues he has lately. He truly is one very Cool Character CC~

Hope they get to the bottom of it soon and it's easily dealt with. Just hate how much our kids have to go through sometimes.

THANKS gals, I too hope they can get to the bottom of this right away. We certainly want Chris to keep two healthy kidneys. His Creatinine (sp?) has show up through blood tests that he is 30% higher then he should be and has been for some time now Doc says we need to find out the reason why and what damage has been done to his kidneys and make sure hopefully we can fix so no more damage will happen. Doc also tells me you can have kidney problems with no other symptoms He looked at all the labs for Chris in the last couple of years, did his own blood tests and told us its most important we due tests to see what is what and we cannot let this go. I will let you know what ever we find out but if you have a moment and think of it please keep positive thoughts for my Character. Thanks CC~

Awww, CC, I'm so sorry Chris is facing yet another issue. Your guy needs a break! Hoping his doc gets to the bottom of this fast and there is no significant damage to his kidneys.
When is he having the procedure for the lump/bump on his back? Will this latest problem delay taking care of that?

THANKS gals and thanks Jennifer for asking. We don't have any final answers yet but what we do know is Chris has a very very small growth on his right kidney and a larger one about an inch long on his left kidney. The larger growth or I guess cyst shows internal echos which they tell me means there is debris in the cyst . The Kidney specialist is about 45 min. from where we live so we took Chris to our local hospital for the Ultra Sound. The Doc and his Ped Radiologist were not happy with the quality of the copy of the Ultra Sound so Monday I have to schedule another one at their hospital with their Ped Radiologist doing it and depending on how that looks to her they may send Chris right off for a cat scan that same day. The Doc would rather not have to do a cat scan as he said anyone with kidney issues already the dye or what ever they put in you for the scan can actually cause more kidney damage But if his Ped Radiologist feels it has to be done then it will be done the same day. His high creatinine ;(sp?) numbers may or may not be due to the cyst. Doc said he has to look at it all together and that we may be dealing with 2 different things. Doc said this doesn't have to be done tomorrow but he did not want to wait and that I should call his office on Monday to have his gal help me set this all up. The lump on his back is a completely different issue and for now that has been put on hold. Good thing for Chris he is great holding a full bladder which he needs for the U/S as they are doing a pre and post void one, so must hold it the whole 45 min. ride. YIKES just the thought of it makes me have to go LOLOL. I will let you know what I find out. Thanks again for caring CC ~

I hope the docs can get this figured out and fixed for Chris soon. No more trips to the doc for him for a while after this....and after his back. He truly does need a break! Thinking of him and praying for him. Susan
