Well, I have been out of commission because I have been on bed rest for almost a month. Today I went in and after 3 ultrasounds the doctor has determined this baby is not alive.
Tomorrow at 12:30 I will be having a D&C done. I am so hurt and confused now. Please keep me in your prayers.
Chris is doing really well.

I'm so sorry. I've had nine miscarriages, and most of them have ended just as yours . . . an ultrasound showed the baby had died.
I've never had a D and C. You do know you don't HAVE to, don't you? Getting pregnant again quickly was always very healing for me and you will get pregnant faster if you do not have a D and C. Twice after a miscarriage, I have gotten pregnant again before even having another cycle. One of those was a successful pregnancy and one wasn't.
Some people need the time to heal emotionally, and I understand that everyone is different. I'll certainly keep you in my prayers.
By the way, I have a daughter named Faith, too.

I am very sorry to hear that Renee. That is really a tough way to find out too.
I had a miscarriage before my last pregnancy & had to have a D&C, as well. They sound scary, but really aren't.
Good luck.

Annie Thank you so much for posting that. I have had a rough day. The doctor is very conservative and won't even do a Tubal so when she said I needed this done I was taken back. I have been in a lot of pain the last 3 weeks and in bed. I am bleeding internally. No spotting. I am glad it didn't hurt.
Alice, it is a procedure where they remove the dead fetus. My body has not miscarried on its own and the baby has been without heartbeat for a couple of weeks.

Although most women will miscarry on their own, some women DO need a D and C for medical reasons, and it sounds like you are one of them. Again, I'm REALLY sorry you are going through this.

I'm so sorry to hear this. I too have had a miscarriage and for me it was emotionally and physically painful. Because I "delivered" or whatever they call it, I didn't need a D&C.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow. Post up when you can to let us know how you are doing.
Huge HUGS.

Even though it is for my own health it still stinks. In a way I wish I could wait but I have been bleeding internally. Thank you all for your prayers and thoughts. I had a good lunch, dinner and some icecream. I will let you know how I am as soon as I can.
