Okay I just read the posts, we have ben gone a couple days. I think we should just go with the Best Western, it is VERY REASONABLE, in the area the Columbus people suggested and while Annie said it isnt the best area, she did say it is okay and I think that is good enough. I agree with A also about how Labor Day has always been for just hanging out at the pools and visiting and talking and having a GREAT picnic!!! It seems the time just flies once we get there!!!! I think my family may also just hang out at the hotel as we want to make this an inexpensive weekend, of course with the exception of girls night out huggers, Robin PS we need to hurry though because it is Labor day weekend and we want to make sure we get enough rooms

Siiiiggggghhhhhh but Donnita, why? I really think you need to practice your sharing and what better way then to practice sharing your mom, one of your favorite things!!! (isnt that what we teach the kids? ) I dont get it, you wont share her, and Adrienne wont share hers either! Now you both have the best moms and my kids need a nana, so thinkabout it, say half a year for your mom and half for A's and I am all set!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOLOL, huggers to you both seriously, you two are very lucky to have those moms of yours! Reminds me how much I miss mine! See you soon!!! hugs, Robin

Awwwwww geez Donnita, you better get me one for Nichole so her and Chase can be twinkies, I dont want her feeling left out with all of us wearing shirts. Now the question is...what size do I get her? A 1X or a 2X? Make it a 2X okay please? I'll get both hers and Dave's from you in Columbus, 19.00 right? And did I tell you how much we appreciate you doing this for us? I think we should vote for the official unomas shirt designer and I nominate YOU ;D hugs, Robin PS...are you bringing your mom with you so I can take her home to be mine?

I just saw Wanda's post, has anyone sent her any info on the trip to Columbus yet? If not I will do that right away, it is always so much fun to meet new families at uno!!!!! (and doesnt Wanda have a baby we can fight over holding? ;D I get to hold her first Susan Louise as you got to hold BOTH Ashley and Alison first:D) Maria and CC and Kristie and Barb and Pat and Annie M (who has been hard at work and MIA for a while) and Suzi and Trish and Connie and Joyce and Kathleen and Jack and Cathy and Annette and everyone else (especially all the new families to unomas) who lives anywhere near close enough to Ohio to make the trip please think about coming, the hotel price is rediculously low, isnt that wonderful! and it is really an inexpensive trip as we all know about school clothes and supplies! We just kick back and visit and get to know one another and share stories and do lots of swimming and have a fantastic picnic and maybe Chuckie Cheese, it is also so cool for the dads because they get to hang out and visit with each other and maybe talk to other dads who share the same thoughts and feelings, I sometimes worry that our dads get left out of the loop as guys just dont seem to talk to others about their feelings but at unomas gatherings they are all there sharing the same things, did I really slaughter what I was trying to say? LOLOL! Anyways, we have some really really great wonderful families that gather together!!!! hugs, Robin

I talked to Susan last night and she is really worried that we are going to end up losing out on hotel rooms either in dayton or columbus so what better way to decide then to do a vote? She is going to need to either cancel the rooms in dayton by the end of this week and get some in columbus or keep the ones in dayton and go with them. Here is what we discussed. Columbus has a water park for those who are interested although I know nothing more then that about it including price but it does sound like fun, there is also a few parks and I think they said a chuckie cheese and... it is closer to the eastern people so that it would make the drive easier for maria, Anette and CC if she too decides she has to meet us finally:D The dowside is it is an hour farther away for some but that is it. Dayton ...we have been there, we know it has some great parks and a chuckie cheese, the hotels are always great excpet the one time we had cold water and although that guy told Susan the water in the pool was cold because of the soccer kids, we think he may not be accurate as we remember when we got there the first night the water was already cold so it couldnt of been from the soccer kids, we think it was truely just a fluke and they had to refill the pool for some reason as it has never been cold except that time and those kids were not ther yet. The dowside, it has no water park and it is farther away from the eastern people. So lets do a vote, everyone post up and say which you would prefer and we go with the winner ok? Lets all choose by say Friday so Susan can get this done and settled by Monday as I think the group rate people arent in on weekends. Anyone who says they dont care, either or will be fine will just get put with the majority and in the event of a tie, we let Susan who has worked long and hard at this choose which place ok??? Is that okay with everyone?? She isnt feeling really well right now, (never fear, I think it is just her old age creeping in) so I hope she comes here and sees we have it all settled for her:D Okay.... please vote

Annie and Deannalee...LOL do you guys really live so close? how cool to finally meet at unomas!!!! Annie is an awesome person, I have never seen her not smile and wait til you meet Ms Raven, she is beautiful! Jack and Chuckie (I accidently called you that on the phone to Susan and I think it needs to stick ) I think this swapping kids for the ride is a great idea, I just wish I lived closer then two hours from you guys so we could do it from the start!!!!!! But as long as we ar going near the same time, it is a trade, Chase and Zach will both be happy as clams!!!!!! hugs, Robin

There is a toll highway you have to take to get to Columbus I think, at least on the way to cedar Point I had to take the toll highway (is it called 80/90?) for most of the way and that is east so I am betting Suzi knows what she is talking about and the thought of sitting in a traffic jam for three hours is pretty horrifying......although now after reading Annie's post and all there is to do, I got pretty excited. I have also heard of Springhill Ohio where Donnita said she found a Holidome, Susan didnt we stay there once? That would be okay too. Lead me on. But just hurry up and decide least we not get a hotel. Susan maybe you should call Suzi ? Donnita did you hear from any one? hugs, Robin P.S. That is what it is called...the Ohio turnpike!!!!!! We all have to take that to get to columbus, terrible place to drive, LOL, it is where I got lost!
