In my Humble opinion (get it, my last name is Humble, oh man I am so NOT on a rool this a.m.) anyways, I think Dayton is ALWAYS the best, it is so laid back and fun!!! We dont do a whole lots of anything except hang out by the pool, visit, laugh and talk talk talk. It is always so great for dads too cause they get to share and talk with guys who have a child or family member with DS and that isnt always the case. I know if it wasnt for unomas get togethers, Dave wouldnt even know any other dads with kids who have DS. This is the best get together he insists I have total faith in you Susan that you will find a great hotel with a warm huge pool. A Chuckie Cheese close by or a Mc Donalds play land would be a plus but we'll just shoot for the big pool rihgt now and see what they have once we get there. I know there is alot of great parks in Dayton and I just read for those who would be interested, there is a safari zoon in Dayton as well. Keeps us posted oh queen of hotel land please and btw, if it hasnt already been said, we really do appreciate you finding us a hotel!!!!! hugs, Robin

::)Oh no you dont Susan Louise..... Labor Day is Dayton, not Cinn and I am not letting you add two hours drive to my trip. When we do Cinn it is for Kings Island. I say you should book the hotel you checked on, the good one and that way we have the rooms and everyone can start booking their rooms and not wait til the last minute like I did and end up paying more. I think we had a great time at that hotel with the exception of the cold water didnt you??? hugs, Robin

LOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Susan!!!! I dont think any one will see this because they are all probably not even thinking that far ahead so maybe a post on the general part saying you are asking for opinions? I say we DO NOT stay at a place near a strip joint, LOLOL, OMG, never knew that was a part of Ohio!!! I do remember us all staying at the Miamisburg Holiday Inn and it was oh so nice except for the part about the cold pool water and brrr was it cold but it makes sense to me that the problem was exactly what they say it was, refilling the pool water so my vote is to stay there and if you dont hear anything from anyone else soon I say please please call and reserve us a block of rooms. It was truely a wonderful hotel and they are always so darn nice to our families!!!!!! hugs, Robin

Susan called me with the details of the picnic in the park so anyone who feels like a drive to spend the day with some great people, here is the details....... The park is called Osborn Park and it is on 3916 E. Perkins Ave in Sandusky We are meeting between 11 and 12 at the park. About half of us will have on green T shirts. We usually just bring stuff to share, its kind of bring a dish to pass, we all end up buying or bringing way too much but it is alot of fun... oh and we usually bring our own drinks, you know, pop (soda depending on what part of the US you live in) and such. We plan on spending alot of the day there so please think about driving over if you are in Ohio!!!!! Kathleen are you listening darling? And if you are still interested in staying the night................... The hotel is called the Holiday Inn Sandusky and it is on 5513 Milan rd, I think that is the address. Susan thought the reservations were for the Holiday Inn express but turns out it is the Holiday Inn Holidome and she said it is fantastic, pools galore, TWO hot tubs so close to the pool you can soak and watch your kids all at the same time, a putt putt golf, arcade games (bring your quarters) etc. hugs, Robin

OK Susan, Barb, Annette, Joyce,... fast...before I have to back out of this trip too for lack of no hotel room, tell me the name and location of this hotel so I can get a room. I know you said that if there wasnt rooms I should just stay at a different hotel but that would never work, I know you remember how Chase is not at the pool alot and spends lots of time in our room, that wouldnt work if our room was not there, but I am NOT going to panic....I just know there has to be a room at that hotel on a web site so if I have the location I can go search quick. This is what I get for puting off calling for a room! hugs, Robin
