dh always puts the larger files on pause for awhile before playing them - gives them time to load. I've never had the trouble of no sound though. Playing "Happy" right now by Ayiesha Woods - great song, bad video, so if you are not getting sound, then skip it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=tI8THwPojqg&feature=related

Yow! You are dreamin', Bob, if you think that is going to be okay by Friday! Better start plotting your alternate route.

Wow! Great story, Sharon! I love the way that you got that great job, not too soon, but just when you were really ready for it. And the support socks - LOL!!

Laurie, I have a great recipe for jelly-filled sandwich cookies with a hole in the top cookie. They also have a smear of chocolate on the bottom cookie. They are called lintzer cookies. If you want the recipe, let me know. We've gotta take care of our pregnant moms

gee, I can get all of these "vintage" candies at local grocery stores - saw the wax bottles & lick-m-aid last week at Meijer I think, or maybe Kroger. But not the waffle crackers, Jackie, sorry. I'd buy 'em and ship 'em down to you but I've never seen them at any time in my life. I'll have a look all the same. I can't think of any foods that are great but not around anymore. All the really good stuff just keeps being made - you know, Ding Dongs & Pop Tarts One thing I've recently discovered is really an old one: plantains - green ones, double fried. Yum, but fattening - starchy & fried. An occasional treat.

I used to love to sneak into the family room and fall asleep to Johnny Carson. Mom let me as long as I was quiet I also liked Colombo, MacMillan & Wife, and Hawaii 5-0 - as well as lots of the ones already mentioned.

I played with Barbies, Lincoln Logs, and FP Little People. My mom made clothes for my Barbies & my fav was a brunette like me. Other than that I was a bit unorthodox - climbed trees & read books most of the time. TV: Mr. Rogers was my all-time fav 'cause he loved me just the way I am & had cool videos showing how pasta & crayons are made.

The nurse who is a rocker (two-tone hair) is from my neck of the woods, so I'm glad she's so good. She has a good chance of making it to the top 3 - and then... concert in the hometown!! Woo hoo. Here's hoping I did not see the girls - wednesdays are so bad for us - except for the last one, and I did not like her. She gave a forgettable, though technically good, performance. Jackie, the one with the long dreadlocks & dreamy eyes is Jason C, I think. He is one of my favs too. So at home on stage, likeable, and a great singer. Myria, I agree about the kid who blew it with dismissing the band. Maybe he'll be back next year. He has lots of potential.

David A & Jason C are my current fav's, but having seen the auditions, I have to say that lots of those guys showed poorly on their first vote night. They were all very, very good during all the elimination process, so I expected much more last night.
I hope the girls show their stuff better on their first night.

Those cute kids are nothin' to your little Googs, though. She's adorable!

Jennifer, this is on topic. There have been discussions like this one before. CC knows a lot about this, as do many others here. Repost it in the general forum so they'll all see it. It'll be a good reminder to those of us who have yet to take care of it too
