BOB and A, I hope you see this......... What is Atropine They want me to put it in Brook's right eye once a day for three days in a row, once a month, for 6 months. They say she is favoring the right eye so this will be to strengthen the left eye b/c the right eye will be all blurrrry for three, yes THREE weeks!! Can't patch b/c of blisters from the sticky stuff Tried that last year. The thing that stuck out to me is the doctor said it will race her heart if she injests it. Too help avoid alot of drainage down the throat, plug her tear duct. Are you kidding me. I think i'd rather deal with the blisters from the patching. Geeesh Has anyone used this stuff? ?

Oh sure Jackie It's really simple in my eyes. My Hub's is dying. He has some big medical problems they can't fix. I've been busting my butt for the last 3 yrs to care for him and Brook. I'ts so hard sometimes. We live on my income and Brooks SSI. We try to have a fun life for Brook and show her lots of things, but it can be very draining on the momma. I asked 3 yrs ago for some help from SSD for my hub's. They said no no no over and over again. Finally I had to get a lawyer. Wait and wait and this morning I sat in the room as my husbands medical file was read. The helper lady, who knew nothing of the goings-on, asked the laywer if this man was deceased and I was there for widow's benifits. I burst to tears. It's hard to know I will have to deal with that crap soon enuf, didn't want to hear it. All in all I think it went well. Thx for Praying for me. I think I made my case. Should find out in 6-8 weeks. I hope not to loose my mind by then...LOL Oh and Gramma survived the bbsitting too Thats the first time she's ever watched Brook. She did great!!!

;D While i'm here i've got to share about Brooks summer school. OMGoodness, they have alot going on this summer. They have a new classroom now. A great big classroom. It has it's own everything. Fully contained. Potty, kitchen, play area and get this, they even have a big grassy area w/ a garden and are learning to compost...too cute They have an area to ride bikes and play t-ball. Yesterday they learned how to make and cook blueberry pancakes. There are apx 10 kids on some days. Brook and her buddy are the only two w/ Ds still. All the other kids are typical. This is GREAT for Brook!!! She LOVES school. Here's to a wonderful summer time of learning. I'll get some photos soon.

Totally off topic here but if you could spare a Prayer i'd be so thankful. Today is the day I sit before a judge and plead my case about Hub's. I need some help here and have waited 3 looooooooong years for this day to come. Pray this judge can see my view of things. Pray he see's how I reallly do need some help. Pray he allows Hub's disability. Pray for this dying man's last few years here with us don't have to be spent here at work with me so I can keep an eye on him. Just Pray. This decission will effect our family either good or bad, forever. Boy, thats hard to write. Thx everyone. BTW, Gramma, Maya and Mary will be watching Brook for 4 hours today. Pray Gramma will be ok....LOLOLOL
