:)Jennifer Smith Orange Park, FL(just outside Jax) originally from Indpls,IN
My son Matthew is 6 1/2 years old. Currently attends a TMH class in a public school, also recieves therapies through the school. We have never qualified for any subsudies due to our income. I am not aware of any programs that are not income based. Would appreciate any info on any programs that we might qualify for.
Matthew went through the Marion County First Steps program in Indpls until age of 3 (contact Indiana Parent Info Network) to qualify. His services were through CrossRoads. In hindsight, we were fairly satisifed with the services. They had at that time a high turnover rate with employees. Caseworkers were just out of school and not as knowlegable. Need to ASK about everything available or you might not know about a service until it's too late.

Allisa. mom to Erin (4) and her 2 brothers. We live in Massachusetts, north of Boston.
I was told that All children with DS automatically qualify for Mass health, even if you have private insurance. This will cover all uninsured medicals, regardless of your income.
