people use that term all the time , my brothers do it,,, one of them alwasy apologizes as soon as he does it , the other two are oblivious,,,, my wife never tolerated that word even before we had victoria,,, i am afraid i was a frequent user before,,, its all relative i guess,,,,, but i know everytime i hear it its like a stake through my guts!!!! it doesnt bother me if its used correctly in context,,, i hate p. c . a spade is a spade : greek philosophy; a shovel is a shovel no matter what u call it........ but ....... there are better ways to communicate especially about someone as a person with ds

WOW! I WAS LAUGHN ALL THE WAY THROUGH THIS THREAD...... NOT THE OH THIS IS SO FUNNY LAUGH, BUT THE HIGH MANIACAL LAUGH, THE LAUGH U HERE RIGHT BEFORE THE GUY CRASHES IN WITH THE CHAINSAW!!!! i went through a similar experience with victorias bus driver, victoria didnt have an aide but the bus driver was less then enthusiastic about gettin out of her seat to assist victoria,, victoria was three when she started school and had to have a harness to keep from falling forward out of the seat... after a couple of years i finally gave up and had my daughter ride with her on her way to her school

idaho is pretty all year round, i live in southwestern idaho , high plateau desert, sage brush, rugged mountains and canyons an hour drive from the forest, cour delaine is very pretty , its about ten , eleven hours from me though, quicker to drive to the oregon coast, lol its gonna turn real green pretty soon, lol it snowed two days ago again, then it all melted, we are going to take a outback trip soon, so my daughter can take some photos for her photography class, last time we took some awesome photos of a mine from the 1800s some ruins, canyons, and wild desert flowers, lol speaking of flowers i bought some foxglove flowers last year and planted them in my garden the next week we wentfor a drive and the darn things grow wild on the side of the road in the hills,,, im gettin them free this year....

i really enjoy our local buddy walk each year,,,, but i am tired of the same ndsa buddywalk t-shirts we get each year,,, same old blue and yellow , white t shirt............. and i know they are cheap but white is not my daughters best color..... wy cant the design one more colorful,,, sure put the ndsa logo on it,, but is it really about the ndsa or is it about our children and friends gathering to celebrate their victories ? i know wy we get the same ones every year because they are cheap but really.......... maybe something with windmills on them or lil dutch people something with a little more color!! maybe with a statement FIRST STOP HOLLAND NEXT STOP OZ!

myself and my brothers suffered from night terrors, sleepwalking ect... some of it is a manifestation of being physically abused as children, its a sign of delayed stress syndrome,
also i have sleep apnia, and when i was 42 i had my tonsils removed(my airways was about the size of a pencil) in two years since then i have had two slight episodes of night terrors, i believe that the lack of oxygen was a major cause of my night terrors, thrashing, hallucinations, sleep walking ect. when we first were married i had a night terror i picked my wife up by her face and threw her across the room,,, looked her straight in the eye and told her not to let it happen again!! my three older children never even had a nightmare, but we never let them watch anything scary on tv with my two younger children watching what my older ones watch (scary movies) the sometimes have nightmares but not to the severity that my brothers and i had when we were younger......
