Renee', Thanks for sharing your blog with us. I was wide awake at 3:45 this morning, and read all of it. I'm sorry to say that I had no idea your family had been through so much. I will pray that things will begin to brighten up for you day by day. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help.
Susan

Mary Grace, I would love to see Kathleen's smiling face! ! ! I clicked on the link, and it said "sorry.....can not be found". Can you help?
I'm sorry she is still struggling with constipation/Crohn's. But it does sound like improvement!! Glad to hear that!!

"Some will never understand fully - forever innocent. That's no bar to Heaven." I agree completely, Chris!

It's SO good to see you! ! ! But, I'm sorry to hear all you're going through.
We belong to an amazing group here in TN called "Rising Above Ministries", and there is a chapter in Atlanta........are you still in that area? If so, I'd love to help you get connected to that group. It has been so wonderful for our family.
Please keep in touch and let us know if there is anything we can do.
I've thought about you and John so much. Glad to hear he's doing well!!!

That's great, Renee! I asked our dentist about a palate expander several years ago and he totally blew it off.....sure wishing I had pursued that!! I've heard good things about what it can do for speech.
I want to hear how it goes!

We had a wonderful Christmas too! We decided in November that we were going to spend considerably less this year than in the past...........and coincidentally, Emily wrote out a larger (and more expensive) Christmas list than ever before!! As I shopped, I kept feeling concerned that she was going to be disappointed on Christmas morning. And, just like always, she was thrilled with every gift. She has always raced over to whoever gave her the gift and nearly knocked them down to hug them and say thanks. This year was no different. And, she never mentioned that she didn't receive at least half the stuff on her list. Whew!!
So glad you had a white Christmas, Jackie. I would have loved that!!

Jackie, I read it as "Play Station games". (followed by the specific games for Play Station) Maybe she is wanting a whole new system? Toss out the Nintendo and get a PS3?
I can read your Em's list even better than mine..........and can't afford either of them!

Looks like a great list!! And very cool that it is no longer a LITS!
The coolest thing for me this year is that Emily's list was written large enough and I could read it!!! For those of you who haven't read about Emily's vision, the very first sign that she had lost her central vision was that her handwriting went to total chicken scratches.........could not read it at all!! We know her vision has improved a lot, but being able to actually read her list was wonderful!!
Now.......if I could only afford all the stuff she put on that list!!!!!

Renee', I'm sorry you're going through a rough time right now. I wish I had words of wisdom, but mostly I just wanted you to know that I care. Being a mom is sure not easy!! Hugs to you, Susan
