My favorite song and my boy-friend's, is Somewhere Out There. Linda Ronstad and James Ingram sang it. Steve heard it before I did and prayed for someone that was like him out there. Later we met. It is my ulitimate favorite because Linda sings it. The song gives me shivers. "Some where out there where dreams can come true?" I think these are some of the words...........Debbie

Kim, it must be awful for you. I am sorry. You can always vent on here. That is what is so great about this place. Everyone is accepting and understanding..........Debbie

I think it is a term of friendliness and a connection with others. And acceptance too in a way. I don't know about girls and women. I know I don't want to be called a "buddy." It just doesn't sound right to me. I don't like "sweetie" either. I have to put up with this from nurses and waitress sometimes. I know they don't mean anything negative about this. I just remember my grandmother having to be called that. Then I think, am I that old to them? ..............Debbie

I don't usually watch that channel. And I think it is too late my time tonight. I will try to remember to watch it. I do think it is great though............Debbie

No, Jackie. I visited my Aunt when she lived in Fresno, California. She does need prayers by the way. She had a silent and unobserved stroke and didn't know it. The side affects is her memory. She repeats what she had said to you the day before. She now has to have a four hour surgery on her colon. I am not privy on all the details. Surgery is surgery and it can be scary. Please pray for her. My Aunt's name is Mary. She is my Mother's sister and she is the youngest..............Debbie

I don't blame Emily one bit about having her own apartment. And to accept knowing she will have to live with a roomate is an ecouragement for her and as well for you. My parents will leave the next Saturday to take my youngest niece to camp at Blue Haven. They will be gone for three days at the most. I will have a blessed time to myself! love it, love it love it! ;D Steve, my boy-friend will take me to church so I will probably spend the day with him...............Debbie

My Mother's cousin passed away Sunday sometime. She had cancer really bad. Her funereal is tomorrow. Her name was Nicki. She had been a teacher for thirty some years. I would really appreciate prayers for her family and mine. My Mother was close to her.........Debbie

Wow. That must of been scary for you! Thank goodness she didn't drive off though. It amazing what a child/teenager can do by simply watching. I guess it is time to get out the driving manual! I have read it several times myself...........Debbie

The greatest thing about having Down syndrome is meeting so many parents. I see this as a true blessing. The next greatest thing is when I surprise people at what I can do. I really like that part! ;D........Debbie

I have a Motorola Razer thin phone. My Dad ordered two of them after Christmas almost two years ago. I love it. I simply use it as my personal phone. Mom likes this because when I am not at home I can call her and she can call me. I don't use the text messaging or the Internet things. I simply use my phone like our home phone. I am not really a phone person to be honest. I have few friends but, I can talk to a few like my boy-friend. And I feel independent..........Debbie

Wow. Steff, she is amazing! I like that girl and she is so smart. You must be proud if not tired of her being another personality and all. That must be exhausting at times, still, I think she shows real orginality! We all have our bad days I guess.......Debbie

I use my calculator all the time while working on my checkbook register. It sure does help me. I don't know what I would do without it. I have two calculator's but when I am at home, in my room, I use my bigger calculator. It helps to see the numbers and know where to put the dot and so forth...........Debbie
To the those who don't know me, I have Mosaic Down syndrome.

I watched this on the Early Show. I thought it was just awful. Mom had a problem believing it at first. She thought that maybe something else had happened. I told her that this could have happened because of his behavior, but, he can't really help that. I am glad she is not teaching in pre-kindergarten anymore......Debbie
