i cannot tell you how uplifting this note is...molly is just eight, but if it is ANYTHING like her sibs, i know it won't be long before she is up and gone!! *sniff*
thank you, thank you, thank you!! A peek at the future, a fine future...living as a typical adult is everything i dream of!!
any boyfriends on the scene??? I'm hoping by the time she wants an apartment, her and Cody will be married and moving in together!! hehehehe yea...i already have a husband picked out for her!

one of the things another, more experienced mom told me (ahem nancy) was that i needed to dissassociate myself from molly's behavior. ...it was not what she was taught...our kids act out. (i was having the same complaint with her via email)
With her, it's REALLY evident because of her inability to verbally express her emotions. I thank God daily, that she has the teacher she does.
I get notes from her - for instance just last week.
AJ got to lead the group, and molly thought it was her turn. She ended up "punting" his bottle of water down the hall. She has quite a leg on her, you should seriously think about soccer!! We made her tell AJ that she was 'sorry', and then she had to clean up all the dribbles with a paper towel. She was more inclined to clean as to say 'im sorry' but with encouragement, did both.
Other than that escipade...we had a great day!!
and then she proceeds to tell me everything they did that molly did well...and had fun at!
So, to you, dear mommy.....by all means work on it at home. We do...CONSTANTLY, but don't be embarrassed if your child expresses his/herself the only way they can! For sure, find the teacher/aide that loves your child like you do....they are out there, although the hunt can take forever sometimes.
She's even called me because Molly didn't want to eat her ketsup...something MUST be WRONG!
and sure enough, i just run her right to the doctor (ear infection starting) Her teacher KNOWS HER...and that makes all the difference in the world.
Molly just turned 8, and trust me, there are days when i REALLLLLLLLLLLY REALLLLLLLLLY WISH she would talk more...but for the most part, she is what she is....and that's pretty durned nice!
Deep breaths, and long baths......

I'm on vacation!! but had the step daughter up at the beginning of the month, and she blew my bandwidth...so im on dial up "time out" for a month (gotta love the sattilite hi-speed) anywayyyyyyyyyyy i took off 2 weeks the end of the month so that i could help with my FIRST G-BABY'S DELIVERY!! but she messed all that up by coming 3 WEEKS EARLY!! WELCOME AUBREY JO!! 6-7-8 (same as jessica alba) who still is having some issues, but they are MINOR and expected with an early delivery. Mom was happy about it, because she weighed in at 6 LBS 14 OZ'S!! (im afraid to think of her weight had she gone to term...gabe (daddy) was 9#11/2 and tranversally breech...so THAT was A PAIN!!hahahahaha All is well and I'm busy cleaning, cuz the rush of family is on it's way! Just wanted to check in, and say hey! I sponsored this month for all the birthdays in our family...but maybe i missed it? molly is just the same way! we had 'lost' her a couple of times last year...and found her in my van! just pretending to drive (even was punchin the stereo to get her 'cops' cd started)
this is not a funny thing, in missouri, in the summer....so although our cars are usually unlocked out here, keys in the ashtray...we've had to start locking them, as soon as the temps escalate!
she always waits until you go to the bathroom, or are on the phone, or hanging laundry...to make her escape. We have again done the front door, so that she 'shouldn't' be able to get out...
but that doesn't make it fool proof with my little escape artist!
*shutter*

Well, things didn't work out at ALL for what we wanted to do...i love to fish...and we have a bass boat that's been in the garage since last year! Between the floods and the cost of gas (it runs premium) it's just stayed put. we had tornadoes sat nite...and sunday there was gale force winds blowing all day.... but we wouldn't have fished anyway...CUZ I NAILED A MIGRAINE! or a cluster headache or something...woke up with it about 2am...and it was 2pm until i got control of it... Daddy's gift was keeping molly entertained so mommy could have a little quiet. Molly had been home all week with some lower intestinal virus...so i cleaned the carpets! heheheheh YALL KNOW! and of course, lysol'd the house!! but i did make this for my older kids...who are all off living thier lives...*sigh* www.onetruemedia.com/shared?p=5c7817b900e48a9a9bbf57&skin_id=1009&utm_source=otm&utm_medium=text_url

Count me out!
i tried to teach the first three to drive, and IT WAS NERVEWRACKING!! shauna would put her car in the ditch, every time a farm dog would run out to bark at us...
with them, i told them to hit the dirt roads...and teach themselves!! i know...i know...they learned alot in drivers ed.
Good thing i got the sarge...i DO NOT train drivers!! EEK!!
(too cute about the cones! ha!)
