"Kids come with such individuality " OMG how true is that!!!! I so wished he had a GREAT time, not sure if we will try again next year have to see how things go over the year. BUT I will share here that I have been given many opinions (not here) I mean people I know personally and I keep thinking Hmmm why do so many people think he "will/should" love it KWIM?? Kodi would not and did not so why do people think Chris would automatically love it?? Chris LOVES many different things and does LOTS of adventures but camp, well sleep away camp for a week just doesn't seem to be his thing. Personally I think the 2 night last year and 1 night this year sleep over with his ESY went well because he was around the same people weeks before he went and this one week sleep over he knew no one till he got there. OR it could have been since he came home sick, he was not feeling well the whole week KWIM... I am not sure The main thing, although he came home sick was he was safe there, the people working there were very very cool... So will he go next year Hmmm your guess is as good as mine at the moment LOL Just glad I don't have to decide right now CC ~

I have not seen this movie and do not intend to see it. Kodi Lee and Colin actually are going to see what all the buzz is about with this flick.
Just throwing this out there but the more buzz it gets, just might make more see that maybe would not, do you KWIM??
I am a big believer in free speech and my daughter and hubby are old enough to view this flick and I would never tell them not to even though I will not.
I am almost afraid to post this here cause I don't want to be pounded on BUT the Imus and Rutgers stuff honestly would never have been so big if not for the media and I am thinking this is the same in a way. You know the more one fights it the more attention it gets. Just a thought...
I honestly had to ask myself why would I be offended if I have ever laughed at any thing that was mocking anyone.
I am sure I am the odd ball out here but I think if one is bugged by this they should be just as bugged by any and all jokes so called towards anyone.

and I am one very happy Mom tonight ;D OMG you guys I am sorry to report he did not have a good time We were allowed to pick him up between 9 and 10 am and I made sure Colin and I were there right at 9 ;D The kids were just finishing up breakfast so we went to his room to get all his stuff to put in the car. Then we went and signed him out walked over to the cafeteria and it was jammed with kids parents and such. The moment I walked in the door through the crowd I spotted him and he spotted me and OMG he just had a grin from ear to ear. He ran over to us, gave Colin a hand shake and me the BIGGEST hug ever. I then talked to his counselor aka Tasha. She really is the sweetest young gal. She is over here for the summer from England working at this camp . Anywho I asked her how did it go and she told me Chris was very very homesick She said he cried on and off for 3 days Now you really have to know my boy he just is not a crier so when I heard that I was like NOOOOO He would not go in the pool once and I kid you not he loves to swim. Prior to him going to camp, we took him to the ocean and we could NOT get him out for hours. That made me sad to hear that he would not swim once Basically, Tasha told me he is the sweetest young man, she told me he was just very homesick and the only day he perked up was Friday when he X off that day on the calendar we sent, so he could see when he would be going home. Tasha told me that as soon as he X off Friday he just got so happy, smiled big from then on. She did say he enjoyed the arts and crafts out of everything. Chris was so cute he was holding a tee shirt in his hand and kept saying Kodi.. He made it for Kodi. They did tye (sp?) dye and he even made it her favorite color ever, Purple ;D When she got home from work tonight he ran to get it, give it to her and just beamed with pride ;D Kodi got out of her work clothes and put it on right away which made Chris smile even more ;D He came home sick Has a cold and I think a sore throat as you can hear it when he speaks I asked him if he had fun at camp and he just said "NO" Colin and Kodi Lee tell me "it will go better next year..." and I am like Hmmmmm maybe he is just not a camp person, KWIM Geeze Kodi hated day camp when she was little so really it could be that camp is just not for my Chris, KWIM Will I try it again, Hmmmm not sure to be honest. He does fine with day camp but sleep over just may not be his thing Its just so hard to know with his communication issues We did send a camera and its full so when I have it developed maybe that will help me see better. If you read this far, I have a whole year to worry bout weather to try camp again for him but in the mean time I am one very very HAPPY Camper to have Chris home today ;D CC ~

"Sometimes when I need to say "no", she keeps asking me over and over again as if I didn't understand her question or what she wanted" OMG Chris has always done that. He will even go as far as taking my head and turning it so he can talk right into my ear as if I can't hear LOL I will admit the truth here that I do what one should NOT do BUT he sometimes just won't give up and I will then just say OK/yes Chris so that he will stop doing it. For Chris once he hears the yes he will let it go for a bit, not even really want what he was obsessing over. Seems for him anyway the yes is all he needs Totally not the answer BUT it works for us and honestly he can go on longer then I can hold out at times, KWIM Vent away I truly get it. CC ~

LOLOL Chris is the same way he loves only 20's go figure He carries 2 ~ 20's in his billfold and when he pays for something he then always asks us for a 20. As he always wants to have 2 ~20's in there at all times. But he does give us the smaller bills he gets back as change Hmmmm I think we lose out in this deal somehow LOLOL CC ~

Just got home from a 3 day, 2 night trip that was just the BEST Mom/Daughter bonding time ;D Time that was well spent and much over do. Kodi Lee and I went to Atlantic City, for some slot machines, which I did not win, well I was winning but then lost it all Spa time, great shopping, saw the play The Wedding Singer, GREAT food and lots of walking, talking and just enjoying sharing time with my first born ;D OMG Colin was just so cute, we arrive home tonight to balloons and flowers on our porch welcoming his 2 favorite gals home ;D Only one call from the nurse at the camp so far Chris is at and it had nothing to due with his heart ;D which was GOOD ;D K, back to the mixed feelings. I honestly have to admit I was so stressed when we dropped him off and the first day after then I started to relax some and really enjoyed no locked doors, going and coming as I wanted, going away to a place that was for adults ... I love my boy tons, any that really know me, know that, no need to explain but man oh man having the free time was truly needed more then I ever realized. I think of him all day and wonder if he is happy and having fun and bought him lots on my trip LOL but as much as I missed him I can honestly say I LOVED the time. I hope you get what I mean. I would never ever not want my "Character" aka Chris BUT after 15 years a week of free time is really very nice ;D With all that said... OMG I can not wait till Saturday morning and going to pick Chris up and just see that face of his and giving him the biggest hug ever ;D CC ~

YIKES Not sure how your chances are now Steff for more then one night Hope for you I am WRONG If it were my Mom as much as she loved my Chris OMG if I was gone for only 25 min. and he did all that NOPE I would not even get one night LOL Since Liv speaks so well any chance they told you what she said to them when she called 911? Only asking cause maybe by what she said might give you input on how to handle it KWIM? All 911 calls are on tape so just a thought. Only thing I can say is maybe if Liv does it again they should come and let them explain it was not a good thing... You know sometimes the kids listen better from others. CC ~
