Hmmm K, here is my take on the idea Honestly I feel kind of odd putting this out there on a public board cause hey who knows maybe if one here really does write to Oprah about this she may come and read the site, KWIM Makes me feel like I am kind of part of a scheme to make this happen Hmmm LOLOL K, with all that said, I watch Oprah when I can and I LOVE her shows. I am thinking she just loves to do things that are cool and surprise people or make things happen that may have never had a chance of happening, KWIM So here is just one idea I am throwing out there. I am thinking that what are the chances that any of us here in the states will actually ever have the opportunity to meet up with say Car, Stella (which BTW Stella WHERE THE HECK ARE YOU?) or Tammy or any of our members here from the UK or any other far away place. So maybe she would love to bring some together that are outside the states that have become good pals due to UNO with some from the states all brought together with a common cause, KWIM Just a thought Just the other day on her program she was doing makeovers and there was a woman on that has a little daughter with DS and her hubby is away at war. After the make over she surprised her with her hubby being there via satellite (sp?) for him to see his new looking wife ;D Was very touching and at the end of the program the woman was on stage holding her adorable daughter ;D Or another thought maybe try to get something for October being that is DS Awareness month and what a cool way to get soooo many aware, KWIM K, I am rambling way to much on this LOLOL BEST of Luck to you that try CC ~

Thanks Gals NOPE Susan no lead for Kodi Lee this time BUT she was just glad to be back on stage over the summer. It was with a local community theater. Honestly the types of plays they put on in College these days Hmmm well lets just say, MOST are NOT appropriate for Christopher to see, KWIM So it was nice for her to due a family type of musical CC ~

THANKS gals, he really did have a blast ;D Chris just loves Water parks, well actually he just loves any kind of amusement park He truly is the king of rides of any kind ;D I am amazed how fast this summer is going. Man oh Man his ESY is for 6 weeks and he only has one week and 2 days left. Then he is off one week and then off to the week sleep over and then off 2 weeks and then back to school Where oh where did this summer go ? I was in the store today and saw Halloween stuff LOLOL can you believe I am so much looking forward to the time he is off everything and home here, we have lots of plans for the beach and stuff ;D I will be honest here when Chris was little and home all summer OMG I was nuts most the time as he is one very active person LOL BUT as he has matured, I can honestly say he and I have tons of fun together ;D For any that have been at UNO for 8 or so years I bet are shocked to hear me say that LOL BUT in fact it is the Truth Again thanks for letting me share it all here CC ~

his ESY overnight trip to greatwolflodge.com/Locations/Poconos/waterparks/index.aspxHe just had a SUPER time and Man oh Man did he just love the water slides, he is even talking about them still ;D Kodi Lee and I went to pick him up tonight and we pulled in right behind his bus pulling in. Teach said he was just WONDERFUL the whole time other then he wouldn't eat much. Which is OK for this short trip but I hope he doesn't pull that when he goes in a few weeks to the week sleep over camp. The BEST part of it all was when he got off the bus I watched him go over and get his suitcase and then sit on the bench looking for me and when I said CHRIS he smiled from ear to ear and I got the BEST HUG ever ;D Colin and I are happy he had a blast but even happier he is back home CC ~

I had a few more ultrasounds with Christopher who happens to have DS due to other worries the Doc had, then I did when I was pregnant with Kodi Lee. Nothing showed up that made them think there was a chance of DS. I did not have an amino. Funny thing is I was over 35 when I was pregnant with Chris and I was trying to decide if I should have the amino or not. At work I would take a poll kind of with all woman that came into our office. I would ask them if they had the amino and just about everyone I asked said yes they did and the baby was fine. Hmmmm I chose not to have it and Chris ended up having DS. Hmmm not sure what that meant other then I thought I would share No one had any clues what so ever Chris may have DS but honestly the whole time I was pregnant I just felt he would, can't explain it, just knew it. Ask any and all ?'s you have, UNO is a great safe place for that CC ~ from New Jersey

Christopher is 15 now and does and always has had straight hair. Honestly I have naturally wavy hair and I would kill for his soft shiny straight hair Not sure if its a DS thing or not, interesting question CC ~ from New Jersey

Kodi Lee and I just got back from this movie a bit ago and I AGREE OMG a GREAT Movie and a must see ;D BOTH of us noticed not only groups of woman but many mothers and daughters seeing this together ;D "And, I agree Sharon......................Meryl's 2 friends absolutely cracked me up" YUP I am with you gals on that OMG tooo funny. Did you noticed the one friend was I think "Martha" in the Grinch that stole Christmas. "Lots of innuendo in this one, but the language wasn't bad at all." I second you on that Susan I have to say seeing the guy that played James Bond sing was a bit much for me LOLOL I was very impressed with Meryl Streep and her singing Man oh Man I didn't know she could sing that well. And didn't you guys think the young actress that played her daughter looked as if she really could have been her daughter? Just a fun foot tapping flick for sure and if I could ever get to that island, I would be happy ;D CC ~
