Thank you. I'm always looking for game ideas. So far, Joshua likes This Little Piggy, Peek-a-Boo, and Patty Cake the best. That picture with the missing tooth is adorable! ;D

I think kids with DS just grow more slowly. Joshie will be four next month. He had his heart repaired at three months old. He is not a picky eater . . . eats everything in sight, LOL! But he's still small for his age. He is even small when compared to the kids his age on the special Down syndrome growth chart our pediatrician has. He's otherwise healthy, so we aren't worrying.
Welcome!

Joshie really looks better with a bowl-style cut, because I think the longer hair balances his strong features. It only looks good when it's freshly cut and combed, though, and he messes it up almost as soon as I comb it. Consequently, he was going around looking ratty all the time. I think appearing well-groomed is especially important for our kids, so I decided to give him a shorter, all-over cut that doesn't even really require combing. It isn't as flattering, but it is much neater.
Fortunately, he likes ANY kind of attention, including hair combing or cutting or tooth brushing (so far).
Your little guy is adorable. I don't think he looks like a girl, even with the longer hair. He's a cutie!

Another reason Joshie will be homeschooled. She should be more than just "fired".

He's a sweetie. I want a hug!
I thought he was signing "eat". That's exactly how Joshie does it.

Pretty dress . . . even prettier little girl. So, Joshie is going to have to fight Jelanie and Noah for Brook's hand? This could get interesting a few years from now . . .

I think it's cute, but some people might think it's gross to hear a kid yelling, "poopy". A wet diaper doesn't bother Joshua at all, but he lets me know right away if he dirties his pants. ;D I keep telling him to let me know BEFORE he "goes", but he doesn't quite have that figured out yet. Edit: I just realized everyone who advised me to put backwards sleepers on him to keep him dressed will be able to see I followed their advice! ;D

It's good to get an idea of what will happen when we go. Joshua's speech has really taken off lately. He says a whole lot of words, but I'm not sure if he'll mimic a speech therapist. He's not usually cooperative when we ask, "Can you say 'ball'?", but he says "ball" if there's a ball around and he wants to talk about it. You know what I mean? He uses words to communicate, but doesn't like to show off for us. He can't do a button, stand on one foot, or cut with scissors, either. I've never asked him to string a block, but I don't think he could. He can stack two blocks now, though! ;D I'm also not interested in teaching him to cut with scissors yet. Thanks for sharing your experience!

Aw, thank you! I will definitely show that to him! You know, we live close enough to each other that we could get our kids together when they reach dating age . . .
