OMG I loved Romper Room. Yes, I totally held my breath for her to say Hello to me. I was born in 1968...and I believe Lisa was the most popular name that year....but I still believed she was talking to ME

I'm from RI...and my favorite show growing up was Zoom. I know it was on PBS...so it may not have been a national show.....but I loved it. It was a show of middle school age boys and girls who did little skits and had segments like cooking, science projects and stuff like that. I always wanted to be one of the kids ON the show.
Another favorite was Donny and Marie!!! I thought Marie was just so beautiful with her gorgeous hair and I had a huge crush on their younger brother Jimmy.

[/quote] Barb, It was something like 10 cents at Ben Franklin (you know, the "five and dime & store......good memories there!). OMG, I didn't know Ben Franklin stores were all over the country. We had one right in my neighborhood and my mother worked there for YEARS. She was their window decorator and she also designed all the ends of the aisles. I worked there in high school during Christmas time. What great memories!!!!!!

I love Craigslist....but I have a seperate email address I use when inquiring about items. The most popular scam is if you post something pricey (couple of hundred dollars)....people will email you stating they are from another country and need to use a money order. The money order will be more than your sale and they will want you to give them the difference in cash. The problem is...the money order is fake. So you are the one left owing the bank the full amount of the money order and your customer is long gone.
Be careful.....but it's lots of fun with lots of great deals.

I do love American Idol....and I agree, the auditions are too mean. I don't watch them at all.
I had soft spot in my heart for Sanjaya from the beginning. When he and his sister auditioned, they told him he was the better one.....but when asked in front of his sister..he wouldn't say that. He was very humble and didn't want to hurt his sisters feelings. I was rooting for him from then on. His performances were not good....but that spanish song was AWESOME. My father sung that song to me when I was young (although I assume since we are Italian, he sung to me in Italian)....but either way, it brought back a nice memory for me and I thought he did a great job!!
I think LaKisha should win. She is fantastic....and she has a little girl to support. Just knowing that, gets her my vote!!

LOL....I don't like waiting either!!
Here is the synopsis I got off her internet. I watched it when it aired, but I forgot the details....here is the finale info.
Ray Barone stresses about getting his adenoids removed. Everyone assures him he'll be fine, but he believes otherwise. As it turns out, the doctors have trouble taking Ray out of anesthesia, and his family quickly gets worried, until the doctor comes out moments later to explain that he is fine. It is agreed that Ray will not be told, and neither will Marie, who was in the bathroom at the time. However, Marie gets the truth out of Frank, and Debra must explain the incident to Raymond, who is still unaware of the mishap. The ensuing discussion, which includes Robert and Amy as well, involves Ray asking, "So for 30 seconds, you all thought I was dead? What did everybody do?" The show closes as the Barone family sits down at the table for a meal.
The episode was interesting in that it was indistinguishable from any other episode in terms of the story. The only clue it was the final episode, besides the title, was the final shot which referenced The Last Supper painting, and the longer-than-usual fade.

What a gorgeous home. I live in the North East USA and we just don't have homes like yours where I live. It is so interesting to see how others live. It is beautiful and looks very peaceful and beautiful place to raise children. Congrats!!!
